Alumni News |
It was wonderful to see the school site buzzing with visitors at the recent annual Careers and Higher Education Fair. It was a busy event with students in Years 10-13 making the most of our visitors to have face to face conversations.
We are particularly grateful to our alumni for giving up their time to chat with our students about their experiences of higher education, apprenticeships, career pathways and employability. It was particularly useful for the younger students to find out about life, study and work post-Pate's and learn more about professions which they were interested in, Happily, the event also reconnected several former classmates - a fair bit of reminiscing about schooldays went on!
We'd like to thank Charlie Audritt, Aidan Frampton, Tom Green, Alex Holmes, Toby Lewis, Arywen Morris, Jon Palmer, Becky Preece, Emily Rackley, Edward Roberts, Liam Scott, Petra Scutaru, James Somper, Holly Teague and Dominic Thomas
Thanks also to those alumni who came as representatives of their university or business Ann Biju, Matt Matthews, Joyce Clifford, Tom Frampton and Humairaa Saleh
We very much look forward to hosting the event again next year on Wednesday 12th November 2025, 5.30 pm - 7.30 pm. Do drop us a line if you would like to be involved development@patesgs.org
