Teachers, students and parents came together to celebrate Lunar New Year 2023 recently. It was a wonderful event organised by Pate's staff Mrs Zhang-Evans, Mrs Kurlbaum, Mrs Attwood, Miss Milner and Angel who supported their students with their performances and made decorations. Mrs Zhang-Evans was one half of a staff duo (with Mrs Shelmerdine) who were brave enough to get on stage for a beautiful performance of belt waving.
Our huge thanks go to the Hung family who continue to support this event by generously donating and serving the main noddle dishes from their restaurant 288 Bar & Wok on Cheltenham High Street - it's always so fresh and very tasty! There were additional food stalls and this year for the first time a student made bubble tea (made with tapioca pearls) which went down particularly well with attendees.
The traditional Lion Dance was performed in spectacular style by Kui De Tang Centre and was just one of the many highlights to end this celebration of the Year of the Rabbit!
