Remote learning is going exceptionally well and we are very grateful for the role that students are playing in approaching their learning with such maturity. The majority of students are reporting that they are very much enjoying the challenge and that they are finding the work engaging, accessible and manageable. However, the ongoing screen time can be challenging and staying ‘active’ is difficult when the 'school day' is home based.
With that in mind a house competition organised by the PE department was launched on 15th January which gave students and staff an incentive to get active in the Spring term. From 15th January - 22nd February 2021, students and staff were asked to get out and about in the daylight and track their run/walk distance in kilometers and upload the distances they cover. There was a fantastic response and at the end of the competition the winnning house is .....Pembroke! Congratulations!
