The second half of August is each year, a nail-biting time for Year 13 and Year 11 students as they await their A-Level and GCSE exam results. Hot on the heels of the fantastic A-Level results, it was the turn of Year 11 students to celebrate great success. A record-breaking 56.6% Level 9 grades were achieved and 94.9% Level 9-7 grades - the best ever and even better than the last two years!
We are very proud of their hard work, positivity and resilience during a time when their studies were substantially disrupted by the pandemic. They have worked remotely, been in and out of school as Covid cases rose and fell and had the uncertainty of what the GCSE experience would be like this year. We are hugely thankful for the expert teaching of our staff and the invaluable support of families and friends. We wish them well for their next step into Sixth Form and look forward to welcoming those new to Pate's into our community.
